A no-shoot target is a specialized training tool designed to develop your most critical skill: knowing when NOT to fire. In real-world defensive and law enforcement scenarios, split-second threat discrimination is the difference between saving a life and a tragedy. Standard silhouettes only train accuracy — the No Shoot Target trains judgment. The Sage Dynamics Low Light PID design forces you to identify whether a figure represents a genuine threat before engaging, building the decision-making muscle that matters most under pressure.

He's known for his pioneering white papers on red dot optics for duty handguns and his reality-based training methodology. Axle Targets partnered with Aaron to engineer the graphics, printing, and production — delivering his training vision as a professional-grade paper target at scale.

What's the difference between the primary and alternate targets?

Each package includes a main set of revolver-based shooting scenario targets PLUS alternate scenario targets. The alternates present different threat/no-threat situations, allowing instructors to design multi-layered training drills. Shooters can't just memorize one target — the alternates force genuine threat assessment every time. The 44-pack includes 40 primary + 4 alternates. The 88-pack: 80 + 8. The 176-pack: 160 + 16.

Will these hold up in outdoor training and bad weather?

Yes. Printed on weather-resistant cover stock specifically chosen for demanding range conditions. These targets maintain print clarity and structural integrity through outdoor training sessions. The full-color print is designed for visibility in both well-lit and low-light environments — which is the entire point of the PID design.

I'm a civilian CCW holder. Is this overkill for me?
